"So, you are a paleontologist, and you are searching for middle age cities".....NO!!!!
Again, it is important to remark the difference between PALEONTOlogists and ARCHEOlogists: https://t.co/5Cy9QMOHwe

Do you know? Acrodus anninginae and Belenostomus anningiae are two extinct species of fish described around 1840 by #LouisAgassiz, to honour #MaryAnning, the most famous woman in palaeontology!

The main problem with #bovinae#evolution is the variability of features, due to climatic conditions and sexual dimorphism. Several species of #Bison are today recognized, since their Early Pleistocene appear, but how many of them are well fixed? #Steggio@gofundme
Are you ever been in #Sofia? You can find a #ciclope! My first day of comparison among differest species of bovidae begins today, with this BIG guy! #Steggio, @gofundme
New update of my @gofundme campaign about the #fossils from #Steggio! This is a very old and un-studied collection, and we are only at the first steps!
Thanks to all my friends for their support!

Seven years later, we reopen the palaeontological #research at #CavaFilo...Amazing news and interesting discoveties by a fauna of about 25.000 years ago! Thanks to @Museo_Donini which included me in the team!
Yesterday, fossils of #Anthracotherium magnum have been returned to the Biblioteca Civica di #Thiene. Very proud to have worked on their #restoration and to collaborate for their definitive #exibition
What "lost collection" means for fossils? It means that information regarding an extinct species is no longer available, and researchers cannot compare them with similar species. An example: the same epistropheus in the 50s and today without the articular "tooth" with the atlas
