🚨NEW STUDY DROP🚨
New plesiosaur, Argentinonectes calafatensis, is described from a rather complete skeleton from Upper Cretaceous Patagonia. It helps shed light on the tail anatomy for these plesiosaurs.

Natovenator mating dance
Natovenator is a genus of halzkaraptorine dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous. Its fossils suggest a semi-aquatic lifestyle like modern waterfowl. The courtship ritual depicted here is inspired by cranes and grebes.

What is a (theoretically possible?) scientific discovery that would make you flip, froth at the mouth in excitement, and force you to temporarily lie down?
Last day of the month, and for this one I bring you something different, a bust of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus. I based the general shape on the diagram by Randomdinos, using a skull I found on Sketchfab, and for that mark on the snout I used a reconstruction made by RandomPaleonerd.
Tylosaurus specimens have been found with stomach contents including the remains of turtles, sharks, sea birds, plesiosaurs, and even other mosasaurs. For the Lizard King, everything in the Cretaceous seas was a potential meal.
Carnotaurus wasn't fast, actually
If this is a shocking "Santa isn't real" moment for you like it was for me, check out @SkeleCrewPaleo 's episode for an explanation. This could be a Paleo Mythbusters series
(Suggestion for the next entry: Oviraptor didn't have a crest 😉)
🚨 New official trailer for Surviving Earth!!
Some of these scenes genuinely look incredible 🔥🦖
Only two weeks left until the premiere of the first episode.

Castoroides dilophidus skeletal, realizing I never posted this. This gigantic beaver from Florida is incredibly bobbleheaded. While it may not have built dams like its modern cousin, it is still incredibly cool in its own right. Also, it likely didn’t have a paddled tail.
