Strengthening Resilience and Building Capacity Through Learning and Practice!
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) hosted a four-day Training of Trainers at its headquarters in AL Beirah as part of the activities under the project “101 – Strengthening the Health System to Provide Quality Emergency Care in the West Bank”, funded by the Italian Cooperation.
In collaboration with the PRCS Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Department, the training was delivered by three volunteers from the Italian Red Cross Psychosocial Support Service, fostering collaborative learning, knowledge exchange, and practical skills development.
Through four interconnected stages of the Learning Journey: Explore, Experience, Adapt, and Transfer, participants engaged in an interactive process designed to strengthen their capacities and translate learning into practical action.
The training also explored practical approaches to stress and fatigue management, decision-making, communication, teamwork, and leadership. By fostering mutual support and promoting self-care, the training aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity to promote well-being and resilience in their professional and community settings.
