The IDF's 170 is one party's assertion, not independent confirmation. How many of the 170 are even on CPJ's list? "Presented as journalists" isn't the same thing.

And your logic cuts both ways: if 170 doesn't prove the rest are civilians, it doesn't prove they're combatants either.
