Union RTH Minister Shri @nitin_gadkari launched a report by @savelifeindia at #Manthan2022 detailing a model for the redesigning of dangerous intersections to drastically reduce road crash fatalities across India and transform #blackspots into #safespots.
India accounts for 11 percent of the global road crash deaths despite having only one percent of the world's vehicles. In 2020 alone, as per the latest @MORTHIndia data, India reported 366,138 road crashes and 131,714 fatalities.
