@KwameAplus_ It is clear this a levy introduced by NPP government. Why are dragging the Attorney General into this matter? Are you saying as an opposition MP he shouldn't perform his responsibility? Or bcos you are a suspect under investigation for the NSS scandal you want to muddy his name??
Thanks bro for the support. I just want to add that the 25 boreholes are only for this year 2024, but the total boreholes he has drilled since becoming MP in 2012 are over 80
It’s not only the Presidential Election that you should Vote wisely. The MP election too.
Bolga east MP Dominic Ayine has dug 25 boreholes for communities in his constituency. He has also supervised and led building of schools there.
My MP ibi funerals he dey attend vhim.
The NDC Caucus in Parliament wishes to serve notice that we are keenly following with eagle eyes the government’s handling of the recent cocaine bust by Belgian authorities after complicit Ghana Airport operatives allowed Madam Proeger Delgey Bianca to outfox everyone at Kotoka on March 23, 2024 causing grave international embarrassment to Ghana.
This intercepted Convening Order dated April 8, 2024 indicates that the investigative panel’s report should be ready by close of today May 3, 2024 and must be submitted to the GACL MD, Mrs. Yvonne N.A. Opare.
We share the same view with Ghana’s international partners who insist that they would have had more confidence in an independent probe instead of a GACL internal enquiry, particularly when some of the key suspects are politically exposed persons currently holding positions in the NPP.
So far, government’s communication on this cocaine scandal has been an unmitigated disaster. But for a Herald newspaper report, government would have been silent on the matter and not issued the press statement of April 10, 2024 confirming the arrest in Belgium of smuggled 8.5 kilograms of cocaine from KIA.
Since then, there has been no update to Ghanaians and the international community — for example, deep throat sources on the investigative panel say they do not believe they can meet today’s deadline.
The rather strange expanded investigative panel from 4 to 10 have raised additional concerns in diplomatic and security circles.
Recomposition of a larger panel now includes:
Air Commodore Gervase Wienaa
Mr. Kodwo Egyir-Danso
Mr. Chief Teye Adjirackor
Capt. Budu Koomson (Rtd.)
Mr. R.S. Tagoe
Mr. Kwaku Owusu Odame
Mr. Benjamin Ahlijah
Representative of PSWU
Representative of Divisional Union
Representative of Legal Department
The NDC Caucus in Parliament assures the Ghanaian people and our international partners that we shall do everything in our power to avoid a coverup, especially as two major drug related incidents last year involving private jets remain unresolved.
We shall have a lot more to do on the apparent return of NPP cocaine scandals when Parliament resumes.
For God and Country.
