@GHMansfield I recently had the same experience except it felt even more shady. “ We might be able to bring you back for a short time blah blah quality of life blah blah…”. All my numbers were perfect-blood pressure, a1c, cholesterol, heart and lung function. I had a uti. That’s it.

@ConnorNY_ I feel like the only answer to this is “Yes, but…”. I do love it here. I love that I’m 15 minutes from the ocean and sixty from the city. But I’m not feeling as safe as I used to growing up here. And I am troubled by the political scene.

I had a post graduate level of education and twenty years of teaching early childhood special education under my belt. I made my own adaptations/modifications. How much easier if anyone supported me?
