@PeterMcGraw This was my habit until lockdown. Instead of getting on a plane to an exotic destination I'd look at a map of California and see which place would look nice to wander around in for a weekend. Can't wait to do it again freely

Being abrasive to folks who have fond memories of your community sure as hell doesn't reflect kindly on you or the place you supposedly represent.

I actually enjoyed taking the train to school and have fond memories in NOHO. I'm just responding to the original point in the article that over-design stations are bad.

@ravenscimaven I think the pressure of "Girls must like this" BS is what got me to resist "girly" things when I was younger. When I was finally living on my own & able to make my own choices on what to wear, what to buy, & what makes me happy I found myself going for more feminine things.
