Today, I learned that a particular friend decided to distance themselves because I didn't invite them to my lobola negotiation.

Even though it undoubtedly saddened them not to be part of this significant moment, my girls went above and beyond, getting me flowers, covering the costs of my hair and makeup, all while respecting the confidentiality of lobola, particularly ge ba tlo kokota.
