It is with sadness that we report the passing of Pamela J Brink on August 5. Her family survived three brutal years in the Los Banos Japanese concentration camp during WWII. The family suggests donations to Mount St. Mary’s University, 10 Chester Place, Los Angeles, CA, 90007.

Three young boys in Dallas tried stealing from Walgreens, stuffing items into party gift bags like pros. The manager locked the door and one threatened to bust it down, another tried sliding it open. They seemed too comfortable, likely not their first time. It's heartbreaking; kids mimic adults' bad choices.
