I had the privilege of working with @MarilynGladuSL to accomplish good things for women in Canada. She’s a bright, accomplished MP who serves with a strong moral compass and wants to get things done for Canadians. Welcome Marilyn!
At this important moment for our country’s future, Canadians with a broad range of experience and perspectives are uniting to build Canada strong. I am honoured to welcome Marilyn Gladu today as the newest member of this government and our Liberal caucus.
In a time of global economic uncertainty, Canada’s success will depend on how we build ambition into progress and strengths into sustained advantage. Marilyn brings the practical, results-driven leadership this effort demands.
Having spent decades of her career in engineering and international business, she understands what it takes to create good jobs, strengthen supply chains, and ensure Canadian industry can compete in a rapidly changing global economy.
She has been elected by the people of Sarnia—Lambton–Bkejwanong in four straight elections since 2015, and repeatedly earned recognition from colleagues across Parliament for her proven willingness to work constructively across party lines.
I’m looking forward to working closely with Marilyn to build a stronger and more independent Canadian economy, meeting the challenges of a changing world with lasting opportunities for all.
In anticipation of the visit of Rt. Hon. Mark CARNEY, Prime Minister of Canada and his spouse to Japan on March 6th, #MilanoCortina2026 Winter Olympics Figure Skating Pair gold medalists MIURA Riku and KIHARA Ryuichi (#Rikuryu pair) have sent a message about what Canada means to them. Their bond on ice transcends borders, becoming a bridge between Japan and #Canada!
Our childhood cancer journey is done. The work Helena did still has effects to this day. Thank you @anitavandenbeld to showcase how people can make differences. It's clear Helena takes more after her mother than me! @UWaterloo@JustinTrudeau

For over thirty years we have been consistent in our messaging that Canada needs its own dedicated research center on firearm violence and that we need an effective Red Flag Law.
Happy Flag Day, Canada! 🇨🇦 Today we celebrate the symbol that unites us from coast to coast to coast.
I attended a flag day event in #Ottawa hosted by the @PearsonCentre . The Centre engages Canadians about a progressive future for Canada, building on the success of the past and exploring new ideas for a bright future.
On February 15, 1965, under the leadership of Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, Canada officially raised the modern Maple Leaf flag for the first time. Pearson championed a bold, unifying design that would represent all Canadians 🍁
Thank you @PearsonCentre for hosting an inspiring and sobering discussion on the ways survivors of sexual violence are treated in Canada’s criminal justice system, our Rethinking Justice Report and Bill C-16. Watch it here: https://t.co/qtymvFHxY3 @SurvivorSafety@PamDamoff
Second reading is complete, and this coming Wednesday, Feb. 4, MPs will vote for the first time on my Private Member’s Bill, the Keeping Children Safe Act (C-223). Endless gratitude to the advocates, experts and survivors who made this happen. We are putting children first.
Yesterday’s news of the passing of Kirsty Duncan, the former Member for Etobicoke North, reverberated throughout the offices and corridors of the Canadian Parliament. Today, I rose in the House of Commons to honour her life and her legacy.
Thomas and Jude's birthday is two weeks from today. Thomas is turning 12, but Jude will be forever 2.
This is a tough flu season, and there's more to come. It's not too late to get your #FluShot, and take steps to protect yourself and others. Stay well, all. #ForJudeForEveryone
