A question for the readers/writers/literary agents/publishers out there. I live in Australia but have also spent time living in the UK, so know both countries well. I’m currently planning my next crime novel, but my biggest dilemma is which country to set it in. Thoughts?

Enough with the chatting @QueensTennis let’s get to the match that’s half over already #deminaur

Love this. A life philosophy of Helen Garner - looking for “small, random stabs of extreme interestingness”.

Met the delightful @emiliepine @hayfestival today and came away with a massive dose of inspiration, motivation and permission to write what I want to write 😁🖊📚

Dual time lines in novels. Love them, hate them or have no opinion either way?

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

@lizzykremer Phew, glad I got it in to you a couple of weeks ago.

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

I love this idea - focusing on what you’ve done each day rather than what you’re not able to do.

[Amanda Kendle (she/her) @amandakendle]

Ooh love this - hope you enjoyed that #thoughtfultravelpod episode, Helen!

When your two daughters accidentally get their act together- one sends flowers and the other sends wine and chocolates. #winningmothersday

Just found a new video podcast - well new to me - @InSuspensePod with @LesleyKara and @Lauren_C_North I’m late to the party so have a few back episodes to get through.

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

Agree.

What is writing - all writing - supposed to do? Make people want to keep reading, watching, listening. All writing is about what’s next. Agree or disagree? #WritingCommnunity

Such a beautifully written piece.

I wrote about not writing and now I'm not not-writing any more: The Gap Between Things, including links to art worth dreaming about. https://t.co/MOYfr5EO3Q

The trivia you discover when researching traits for your character. Who knew Carly Simon’s father was the Simon in Simon & Schuster?

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

The current state of my synopsis - There was a murder. It was solved. The end. #thestruggleisreal

You know you’re getting a bit too weird when you ask the barista to make your coffee in a yellow mug so it coordinates with your book because, of course you have to take a photo 🤪

@AuthorAllieR @perthectpolly @DymBusso Nothing beats a real live event and we’re so lucky to have local authors prepared to give their time.

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

Had a great time yesterday evening listening to @perthectpolly and #pipdrysdale discuss their writing journeys. Thanks @DymBusso for organising 😁

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

@AuthorAllieR @authorjesspayne Yes you can!

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

@valmcdermid Really looking forward to this new series 😁

[Pam Lynch @pamlynch_author]

Can’t wait for this release.
