AOC has absolutely no interest in, or knowledge about, foreign policy, foreign wars, the US Security State, the CIA/NSA, or geopolitics.
Her real passions are identity politics, shallow social justice issues, and standard liberal economic reform.
It's one of the many huge flaws in her ambition to be a national politician, but also one of the major reasons she's so representative of the modern-day mainstream DNC-dependent America "left."
I am an Israeli citizen, and I sincerely hope people around the world will hear this: I oppose this terrible government with all my heart, especially Ben-Gvir, one of the worst ministers in Israel’s history. I, along with many Israelis, suffer from this government more than anyone and long to see it replaced.
In four months, Israel will hold elections. I will do everything I can to help remove this terrible government and bring a better one for the country and society. A government that will repair the damage left by the current one and rebuild Israel’s relations with the free world.
Some guy broke into my house and set up residence in the study room. He says his grandparents used to live in this house and now he won't leave.
My family and I tried to kick him out but he got very violent. He brings in his friends and they help beat us up if we ever try to make him leave.
They keep saying I hate the guy because of his religion. I don't even care about his religion, I just don't like sharing my house with some random outsider who broke in here out of nowhere and took my stuff.
"The poor guy just wants one room to call his own," his friends say in his defense. "You and your family have all the surrounding rooms in the house, and yet you have a problem with the guy having sovereignty over ONE room? That's kind of bigoted and evil."
He keeps throwing stuff at me and my family if we get too close to his door, saying we make him feel afraid. His friends say it's understandable because his room is surrounded by enemies who hate him just for existing, but we don't hate him for existing, we hate him because he forcibly inserted himself into our home and keeps throwing stuff at us.
And what's weird is whenever I explain my situation to normal people they completely understand where I'm coming from and agree the guy is being a dick, but if I talk to the police or the local paper they always side with the guy. Almost everyone in town hates this guy now because of how he's been acting, but everyone in power does everything they can to protect him. It's like there's a total disconnect between the authorities and the will of the public on this particular issue.
It's having a nastier and nastier effect on the community at large all across town. The police have been showing up to arrest anyone who says they think the guy's being an asshole. The paper keeps printing these obnoxious lies telling everyone that me and my family are the real criminals and the guy is actually sweet and awesome. It's really unfair.
Things have been so tense and hostile ever since this guy showed up. I honestly think it would be better if he'd never moved in here at all, but whenever I say that his friends claim I'm saying the guy should be exterminated and try to get me in trouble.
It's a real mess, man.
That guy sucks.
Nobody ever says the actual uncomfortable thing, so let me say it.
Both stay-at-home parents and working parents secretly think the other one has it easier.
Working parents look at SAHPs and think ‘must be nice to not deal with a commute, a boss, deadlines. SAHPs look at working parents and think ‘must be nice to have adult conversation, a lunch break, a reason to shower before noon.
Neither one is right. Both are exhausted in completely different currencies.
I’ve done both.
When I worked, I missed my kid’s daily life in a way that genuinely hurt. When I stayed home, I missed having a single hour where someone wasn’t calling my name.
Nobody tells you that “having it easier” isn’t actually on the table. You just trade one kind of hard for another.
What nobody wants to admit: the judgment isn’t really about kids’ wellbeing. Studies don’t show one path producing dramatically better-adjusted kids than the other.
The judgment is about defending whichever choice we made, because if the other path is also fine, then maybe we didn’t have to sacrifice what we sacrificed.
I’m not saying every family has equal choice in this, plenty of people don’t get to pick. I’m saying for those who do have a choice, stop pretending your option was obviously correct and theirs was obviously selfish.
You picked a trade off. So did they.
I know this take isn’t universal right now. I don’t think it should be controversial either.
@marklevinshow Sounds like you’re bitter that I ratioed you and you had to delete your lying dishonest tweet about my friend @FmrRepMTG, or face a lawsuit.
Tune in to CSPAN Monday to hear my speech honoring the Americans who were visciously attacked by Israel while serving on the USS Liberty.
🚨 The situation is completely getting out of control.
Albania is erupting for the second consecutive day in angry mass protests against the Kushner land seizure deal worth $4 billion. 🇦🇱
The Albanian people refuse to become a new Palestine. 💥"
WTF timeline are we on. Someone called me the MAGA whisperer and I’ll gladly take the title. Left, right, D or R we all want the same things. We’re being divided on purpose by the Epstein Elite Oligarch class because as long as we’re at each other’s throats, they get fat and rich off of our misery. The second we figure out we agree on more than we disagree, they’re done. Love your neighbor. Be yourself. Radical honesty. No fucks given, no fucks taken. Everything else is just noise. (But still fuck Jake “Brick Tamland” Tapper on any time line)
On June 8, 2026, I’ll speak on the floor of the House to honor and memorialize the brave crew of the 🇺🇸 USS Liberty who died and were wounded in an unprovoked attack by 🇮🇱 Israel on June 8, 1967. Catch my speech on @cspan.
The Iran War Powers Resolution that I cosponsored (opposing the war) just passed the House of Representatives.
The People’s House is sending a message: end this war.
Israel has used American-supplied munitions to kill tens of thousands of innocent civilians.
America is morally obligated to end support of Israel’s devastation of Gaza and its people. I’m cosponsoring the Block the Bombs Act to limit the transfer of offensive weapons to Israel.
The most darkly funny aspect of this video is that Ivanka Trump speaks as if she went on some profound, prolonged spiritual and philosophical journey to ascertain the meaning of life, and concluded that the most elevated human state is to live on a gigantic private island in the Mediterranean, in a sprawling mansion paid for with the billions of dollars given to her husband by the Saudis and Emiratis to ensure favorable treatment by him and by her dad in their exercise of the powers of the American Presidency. Real uplifting stuff. 🙏
It’s all talk. Just withhold foreign aid to Israel for a month and they’ll stop bombing their neighbors - instant peace, the Strait of Hormuz can be opened, and gas drops $2 a gallon. Israel has been, and continues to be, the biggest welfare recipient from American tax payers.
I've already addressed these warnings from Norman Finkelstein about growing opposition to Israel among numerous leading right-wing figures (which he regards as dangerous and anti-Semitic), but there's one other key point about this video here from his @curaffairs interviw:
Norm claims that the only common ground between the left and this right-wing faction is solely about Gaza (and thus implies that this proves that the anti-Trump Right is anti-Semitic because they only find "empathy" when it involves Israel).
That's just false. The right-wing grievances against Trump from this group go far beyond just Gaza. It includes vehement opposition to his bombing of Yemen, his two attacks on Iran, the invasion of Venezuela, imminent operations for regime-change in Cuba, Trump's reckless rhetorical threats generally, the censorship scheme in the US to protect Israel and far more. For many (Tucker/MTG), it also includes opposition to domestic policies serving mega corporations and hedge funds at the expense of ordinary citizens.
I'll never understand why -- if someone genuinely cares about the issues they claim to care so much about (as I believe Norman does) -- they prefer to remain an impotent minority rather than forming majoritarian *ISSUE-BY-ISSUE* coalitions with other factions in order to actually stop these injustices.

I was smeared as an anti-Semite and “Holocaust denier” for even broaching this topic.
Turns out I was onto something…..
“Israeli officials obtained Hamas’s battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened, documents, emails and interviews show. But Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as aspirational, considering it too difficult for Hamas to carry out.
The approximately 40-page document, which the Israeli authorities code-named “Jericho Wall,” outlined, point by point, exactly the kind of devastating invasion that led to the deaths of about 1,200 people.
The translated document, which was reviewed by The New York Times, did not set a date for the attack, but described a methodical assault designed to overwhelm the fortifications around the Gaza Strip, take over Israeli cities and storm key military bases, including a division headquarters.
Hamas followed the blueprint with shocking precision.”
