The United States economic outlook is unsustainable.
Many said the middle class was dying in the mid-2000’s as car companies laid off workers and banks started failing.
Since then, millionaires became billionaires, and billionaires became trillionaires.
Meanwhile, federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. 👀
That’s to cover $1,500 rent, $150 electric, $300 car insurance, $5 per gallon gas, and $20 Big Macs.
$7.25 x 160 hours per month = $1,160 BEFORE TAXES.

@LearyEdwar19503@BythePeople18 Also give them incentives to sell and move to more rural areas. That would free up housing for the younger people to live closer to work.
@BythePeople18 My mother is an 84-year-old housewife with severe arthritis and limited mobility. What sort of job does Republicans think she should get? Maybe one replacing a hotel maid or farm worker they've put in a concentration camp?
Legendary singer and actor Pat Boone, who says he voted for President Trump and considers himself a friend, has some advice for him: be quiet.
Boone says he believes Trump is “very tired,” is “wearing out” from the pressure and is expressing himself in ways that are “not presidential.”
Boone urges him to stop talking about his accomplishments, stop bragging, “be polite to women” and “quit calling names.”
Boone even suggests that the press stop covering Trump for a couple of days — don’t attend his press conferences, don’t ask him questions and leave him to experience what Boone calls “the deafening roar of silence.”
“I say this as a friend…try for just a little while to be quiet,” Boone says.
Kaitlan Collins: "So you agree that people who break into and vandalize a building should be prosecuted?"
JD Vance: "Yes."
Collins: "Okay, I'm just making sure, because you helped raise money for the people who did that on January 6."
Vaccine injuries occur but are extremely rare. They do not rank among top causes of US childhood injury or death. Leading causes are unintentional injuries (crashes, drowning), firearms, cancer, and congenital conditions. Serious vaccine reactions occur at roughly 1-2 per million doses; confirmed deaths are far rarer, per CDC and VICP data across billions of doses.

And so here we are. This statement from Trump blows my mind. That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually
great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this.
It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership.
Enough said. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
HAPPENING NOW: At the expense of American families Trump, his children & top Admin officials are using their positions of power to grow their personal wealth. These self-enrichment schemes are why we need reforms to curb corruption. https://t.co/EGiCCeEGJt
Deliberately crashing the American economy—costing American families well over $5,000 each—and then promising to pay those families back $5,000 but *only if* they keep letting him abuse them and the country for two more years...
...is some *seriously* dark, domestic-abuser shit.
I don’t understand why American healthcare isn’t a bigger issue.
It’s literally the thing that keeps people alive when they become injured or ill.
A catastrophic illness can destroy a life’s savings in weeks.
Most of the world has figured this out.
Why not the United States?
