ABSCONDING EX MLA NABBED BY NIA FROM SOUTH 24 PARGANAS IN BHANGAR BOMB BLAST CASE:
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested absconding former MLA Saokot Molla, the prime suspect in West Bengal’s Bhangar bomb blast case.
Molla, who had been on the run, was picked up from the state’s South 24 Parganas district following continued searches by NIA as part of its investigation in the case, in which a crude bomb had exploded during manufacturing ahead of the West Bengal assembly elections. The explosion had killed one of the bomb makers and injured others.
The 4th accused to be arrested in the case, the ex MLA was the key conspirator who had directed the other accused to make the bomb, NIA found during investigation. Molla had also directed other accused to tamper the scene of the explosion, the probe has further revealed.
His arrest has come soon after another accused, who had transported the deceased and the injured around in his Scorpio vehicle after the blast, was apprehended.
The arrested accused are being examined to ascertain any further conspiracy related to the case, which NIA had taken over from the state police on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.
India has lodged a strong protest against Pakistan’s plan to hold "General Elections" for the so-called "Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly" on June 7, 2026.
New Delhi categorically rejects these attempts to bring material change to areas under illegal occupation, reiterating that the entire Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are integral, inalienable parts of India.
These maneuvers cannot hide Pakistan’s ongoing human rights violations and illegal possession of Indian territories, which it must vacate.
Pakistan has decided to shut down internet and mobile services across PoJK from 11 PM tonight till June 12, ahead of the Joint Awami Action Committee's June 9 protest and long march towards Muzaffarabad. Islamabad is deploying 14,000 security personnel to suppress the agitation.
Iran’s FM Abbas Araghchi says “standing against the world’s greatest power... for 40 days is no joke,” and has warned that US bases in the region that are “used for any aggression against Iran are legitimate targets.”
Obama made the Iran deal.
Netanyahu walked into US Congress — bypassing the White House — and killed it politically.
Trump withdrew. Deal gone.
Now Trump is quietly exploring Iran diplomacy again.
Netanyahu is publicly opposing every off-ramp again.

America spent 20 years bombing terrorists.
Then Trump called Hezbollah — politely.

Israeli PM Netanyahu during a TV interview to CNBC says: “When we fight Iran and its proxies, we are not only fighting our war. We are fighting your war and, frankly, Europe's war as well.”
Trump asked Netanyahu to stop. Netanyahu didn't.
Two allies. One region. Zero agreement.
While Washington quietly looks for an Iran off-ramp — Israel's PM keeps closing every door.
Obama's deal? Netanyahu killed it. Trump's JCPOA? Netanyahu buried it. Trump's diplomacy now? Same story.
The Iran problem was never just Iran.
