This guy got on the bus, flat out refused to pay, and figured the driver wouldn’t do anything.
She pulled away, and he thought he had won. Turns out he got exactly one block of free transportation before she pulled into a gas station where police were already parked.
So if you think about it, he still owes her that dollar.
Ireland :
Yesterday, an Algerian man, Riad Bouchaker, was found guilty of the attempted murder of three children in Dublin.
He came to Ireland over 25 years ago as an asylum seeker, but was later granted citizenship.
On the 23rd of November 2023, Bouchaker met up with his brother, who translated a letter stating his welfare payment had not been approved and more documents were required to process his claim.
He said this made him angry and feel like he wasn't wanted in Ireland, so he packed up all his belongings and grabbed his Irish and Algerian passports. Then he made his way to the Talbot Street mosque, where he asked them to look after his things.
Armed with a large carving knife, he returned to the streets of Dublin, where he began hunting for victims.
Initially he planned on targeting a group of older children, but changed his mind when he realised they were physically strong enough to defend themselves. Instead, he targeted kids outside a creche.
He waited outside for over 30 minutes before targeting the smallest and youngest children.
He stabbed a five-year-old girl in the heart, she is now non-verbal, wheelchair bound and requires 24-hour care.
He stabbed a six-year-old girl in the head, she required emergency surgery and a part of her skull was removed.
And he stabbed a five-year-old boy in the neck and chest.
Creche-worker Leanne Flynn immediately intervened when she saw the attack unfolding, but she was stabbed in the back and torso, resulting in two collapsed lungs and leaving her organs exposed. Bouchaker then threw her aside and resumed his attack on the children.
A number of members of the public intervened to stop the attack. Brave Irish man Warren Donohoe was the first, he immediately ran towards Bouchaker, dropped him with a punch in the jaw and then started kicking him on the ground.
In the years since the attack, Bouchakers defence team (who cannot be named) tried everything to avoid a trial. They claimed he had a traumatic brain injury and didn't remember what happened on the day.
Thankfully that didn't work and he went on trial a couple of weeks ago.
Yesterday the jury found him guilty on all charges.
- Attempted murder of three children.
- One count of assault causing serious harm.
- Three counts of assault causing harm.
- One count of possession and production of a knife.
This is the only image of Riad Bouchaker that has been made available, laying on the ground bleeding after members of the public almost beat him to death.
