I regurgitated those stats to let you know how much men (especially white men) are already dominant in the sports broadcasting space. Men have most of the jobs and apparently that isn’t enough.

You’re also basically insinuating that the WNBA needs male commentators to legitimize them. That’s an insult to the women who have done the work and earned the right to be there. The timing is interesting because I didn’t notice this insistence to be involved before now. So I guess now that the WNBA is gaining traction, they need men — the same men who didn’t even care about the league five years ago? Hmm.

It just struck me as a little insulting and tone deaf.
