San on why he's careful with his words

San said there really isn't much of a gap between "idol San" and who he is as a person. He said he doesn't like having a big gap between the two, because he feels like constantly thinking, "I have to be this way because I'm an idol, but I'll be different when I'm not," can actually make someone more likely to go off track.

He brought up a Korean proverb saying 늦바람이 더 무섭다 (a late blowing wind is scarier) which basically means that when someone starts letting loose or indulging later, they can sometimes go even further.

For San, the main difference is that he can't talk to fans exactly the same way he talks to his friends. He said he's not some great or extraordinary person, but he knows his words can still influence people, especially younger fans who may be more impressionable.

He said the kids are important, so he feels it's only right for him to be careful about what he says.
