@Wealthygodman@CoincreateTeam@_SydneyTammy_@Tbibi99 The winner has been chosen, even though our entries in DM x and tele have not been read, when I talk like this in telegram, I am immediately banned, even though I am talking nicely lol
It's disappointing that there are so many CMs who don't even know what project they're working on, and end up misunderstanding the community's questions, which is unsatisfactory.
another day where there is FUD around CMs and collaboration management in general.
when will people learn.
there are so many issues at stake here.
1. bad CMs.
9 times out of 10, a bad CM is the type of person to switch up instantly when they realise they're working on something that is slightly in demand.
not only this, but they're the least professional of the bunch and may or may not end up rugging your whitelist spots or ask for crazy co-marketing efforts.
2. bad agencies.
overselling, underdelivering and skewing a brand's vision away from the end goal. most of the time, these agencies are convincing brands to switch to a free mint and ultimately provide poor guidance to sustain the project after that mint.
3. echo chamber.
the reality is that NFTs haven't seen a fresh, new audience come into the market, instead, a large percentage of the audience has left and injected liquidity into things like meme coins, tokens, investment rounds, etc.
right now it's the same audience being tapped into, the same communities and ultimately the same people are minting the 'best' projects over and over again.
4. egotistical CMs
I spoke about this very briefly in point 1 but the days of CMs harbouring huge egos because of social clout and being an in-demand person needs to come to an end.
the reality is, that what most CMs are doing has absolutely no impact on the real world.
you're shouting into the same echo chamber, over and over again.
5. vested NFTs.
if you're purposely vesting NFTs given to creators, team members, community members, etc. then that just showcases mass insecurity in the brand you work for.
unless they've invested X amount into an NFT-related investment round then people should have free will to do whatever they want with the NFTs they've minted given they are providing co-marketing support.
conclusion.
I've been in this space for 3+ years now and the state of CMs and NFTs has never been this bad.
people should continue to hold others to account but ultimately we need to see change in this sector.
This field is always underestimated, even though the strength of the project lies in the community & no one knows your community better than your CM & moderators ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
