Bob Odenkirk just opened up with raw honesty:
“I’m jealous of every dad with little kids still at home.”
Why? Because back then he knew exactly who he was.
His days had unbreakable clarity: pick up everything between here and the door, get them to school, share a laugh along the way. No aching questions about purpose or identity.
He was simply a dad. And that was enough.
Now he sees friends heading out the door stressed, yet they still carry that quiet certainty: when they leave, they know who they are — a father.
In a world chasing meaning through hustle, endless optimization, and self-help, Odenkirk’s words land with unexpected weight: that profound sense of self and daily purpose often lived in the beautiful, exhausting chaos of raising little ones.
What hits you deepest — the sharp ache of losing that clear identity once the kids grow up, or the hopeful challenge of rebuilding something just as true in whatever chapter comes next?

@MitchMossRadio football fans should be rooting for Seattle tonight so that we can get a replay of the phenomenal 2019 regular season finale for the one seed
@beatingthebook is it impossible to think Seattle can beat LA, GB loses once, and SF wins out to take the 1 seed at +900? Would set up for an incredible season finale with SF hosting Seattle (remember the goal line stand in 2019)
@MitchMossRadio catching up on this week’s shows…2 years ago we flew to Vegas on Friday, took the 1st flight to Phoenix on Saturday, spent all day at WM, took an evening flight back to Vegas, had dinner at Barrys, woke up Sunday and watched the SB at Circa Swim, highly recommend
@LoewyLawFirm@orangebloods_@TexasMBB Aggs leaving the Big 12 because of UT just to have them join the SEC…and promptly beat them in the first football game at home 😂
@MitchMossRadio@paulyhoward if the Commanders win the NFC, I’m coming back to Vegas for the Super Bowl to monetize. Barry’s on me for putting me onto futures. Only thought for a small hedge this week is Saquon at +500 for SB MVP.
@beatingthebook I have the Commanders at 300-1, haven’t hedged yet mostly due to non playable odds so far. Any thoughts on strategy for this weekend? My best idea at the moment is Saquon to win SB MVP at +500
If you're too young to remember Bob Uecker in the Miller Lite commercials, here's his most classic one.
The Miller Lite commercials were always brilliant. RIP, Bob.
