@LakotaMan1 What argument other than racism ( or xenophobia in other cases) can you make for rules against hairstyles or lengths. Also forcing a child to change their appearance is overstepping. Rules are meant for order and safety not for hate and alienation

men want to have the agency to control a women’s circumstance, they don’t like when women segregate for comfort or safety because it means that they have no power to influence women in those circumstances. gentlemen’s clubs are cool but women’s only gyms are somehow offensive

@omaha_scanner Shotspotter is something that registers gunshots sounds and reports them. Yes this is a real thing. Most of Omaha is privileged enough to not know this exists here.

With adhd people it’s like split brain patients where they can navigate obstacles without ever seeing the thing in the way. This means that when it falls out of the doom pile and onto on the floor it’s invisible. I’ve been walking over a toy dinosaur all day- i forgot I owned one

There should be a universal number for the non emergency police calls like 911 where it connects you to the closest call center because it seems that people only use 911 to summon the police. No leave 911 open for real emergencies

There should be shelves in all the public restrooms stalls for our cups and everything in our back pocket. I’m tired of balancing my cup on a toilet paper dispenser or having to leave it on the sink counter unsupervised.
