Rockstar reportedly told Sony to remove GTA VI's branding from the PlayStation App after the disc controversy got too hot

Sony killed physical discs for all PlayStation games starting January 2028.

The backlash was instant.

Politicians calling for regulation. KFC and Domino's publicly roasting them. The internet turned on Sony overnight.

A week ago Sony had GTA VI everywhere.

PlayStation fans are massively cancelling their PS Plus subscriptions to protest Sony’s move toward a digital-only future.

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Video userswill lose access to more than 500 purchased movies and TV titles after its licensing agreement with StudioCanal ends.

The affected library includes films like Terminator 2, Rambo, Apocalypse Now, Hot Fuzz, and Moonlight, along with many TV series and seasons.

Sony says the content will no longer be available to watch once the licenses expire, even if customers previously bought it through PlayStation Video.

When you see russian say “why this happen” and question long range sanctions, do not fall for it. Mobile and social media ban only start in Moscow this past March.

My parents and family and everyone who lived under russian Soviet occupation knew truth of what happen in world. They did not even have internet. They did not even have smart phones. They knew.
