@Alistair_McF What about, similar to frog boots, like giving players that had rust before this update to decide whether to keep or change their character? Anyone after starts with a new one. This would just be a cool thing to reward old players.

If you are just bashing him to promote the Synez optimizer guy you used, then that just shows you are a shitty person. There is a big difference between giving actual feedback and just trying to tear someone down so your favorite optimizer looks better. Constructive criticism is fine and it can help people improve, but going out of your way to drag someone who is helping the community does nothing but make you look bitter. Aide is putting in time, helping people, and giving beginners a way to get better performance without spending hours learning everything from scratch. Attacking him just because he is a competitor is rude and unnecessary. If you think Synez is better, cool, go use him, but you do not need to trash someone else just to make that point.
Reaps, no one is saying his optimizations are perfect because they are not, but they are real and they actually help. When he first worked on my setup I was originally hitting around 200 fps and after his optimization I was hitting over 400 fps and the difference was obvious. When you optimize a PC for gaming you either spend the time learning everything yourself or you use someone who already did the work and put it all together. Aide watched the videos, tested things, figured out what helps, and saved people the time of doing all that on their own. His work is not flawless, but he is trying to help people while making something from it at the same time, which is literally what a service is. Calling that fraud does not make sense. If you are that mad about it then make your own service and show everyone how much better you can do.
Looks like rust is going for a huge update this next force wipe. Some insane commits this wipe in addition to the naval update. Let me know your thoughts on this.
Summary:
- New Shore Crate
- Loot spawns locations changes (diesel moved to puzzle)
- PVP walls stack reduced
- small spike trap
