It will not get any easier for High School students. So you can sulk or you can adapt.
1) Grades, grades, grades. Put yourself in a position to get an academic scholarship or Florida bright future. So if you get offered a PWO and your truly believe your D1 its financially feasible to go. Always bet on yourself. Florida Bright Futures + Pell Grant + other scholarships= you getting paid to go to college. D2 is doing the same thing giving you football money, in-state tuition, etc.
2)Have official track times. Don't let your speed be up for debate. If you afraid to compete on the track how can they trust you competing on the field
3) STOP going to mega camps and wasting your time and your parents money. Let's just say with travel it costs your family $500-$1000 for the camp. You should have spent that money on trainer (there is a lot of good ones in Brevard County and surrounding areas DM me if you need help finding one) or a membership at a place like @UbrZati
Yet another coach/recruiter explaining how hard it is to get scholarships out of high school. Better start keeping it real and stop lying to these people to get them in your program. But people will only receive the info they want anyway, it’s easier to blame the coaches
