Today, let's talk about atomic locking
Imagine you're at an ATM, you insert your card and start withdrawing money. Now, what if two people could access your account at the same time and withdraw more than what you have? That would be chaos!
Atomic Locking is like the ATM locking your account while you withdraw money, ensuring only one transaction happens at a time. Once you're done, the next person can access it safely.
In software, we use Atomic Locks to prevent multiple processes from changing the same data at the same time, avoiding errors and data corruption.
As a full-stack developer, I always prefer writing clean and organized code. In most of my Laravel + React projects, I set up a system that makes sure all API responses from the backend follow the same format.
On the frontend, this helps me create a simple wrapper that processes all responses in one place. It also keeps my useQuery method consistent and easy to manage.
The code samples below show my auto-response middleware. It lets me return responses without manually formatting them every time and ensures they follow the correct structure.
