Clashes continued Friday in #LayKayKaw near the Thai border in Karen State's #Myawaddy Tsp. Seven junta shells struck a village in Thailand's Mae Sot. More people are seeking refuge in Thailand following junta airstrikes Thursday night, Karen media said.

The military regime held a jade and gems emporium from Dec. 17-22 in which over 600 jade lots and 300 pearl lots were sold through a tender system, according to junta-controlled media. The emporium was the second since the coup.
