FM @SihasakPh attended the Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on the Situation in the Middle East, convened at Thailand’s proposal and chaired by FM of the Philippines. The meeting exchanged views on the situation, and called for an immediate cessation of violence and a return to diplomacy. Thailand proposed joint assistance to nationals in times of crisis, elevating coop. under ASEAN Framework Agreement on Petroleum Security, and accelerating alternative energy transition. FM @SihasakPh chaired a meeting of the Middle East Situation Center (War Room), together with senior Ministry officials, as well as all Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates-General in the region, to review the latest developments and progress in providing assistance to Thai nationals in each country.
