“Reproductive health care for women really does increase productivity,” - Monica Geingos.
This #WorldHealthDay, we spotlight how healthcare fuels development. When women can't access quality reproductive healthcare, it limits their ability to work, go to school, or lead.

On Friday, #Sept28, we marked the day of action in support of the right to safe abortion. Honored to speak at the fruitful session organized by @FPAM_ and @MalawiSRHR. Access to safe abortions is a human right, and taboos around reproductive health in Malawi need to be adressed.
The 🇬🇧 🇿🇦 Health partnership proudly supports the improvement of leadership and governance in hospitals, as well as access to sexual and reproductive health services. The 🇬🇧 is working with the Eastern Cape @HealthZA & @IpasOrg to increase access to reliable healthcare.

Africa's soil health is deteriorating due to continued reliance on expanding croplands. This decline reduces crop responsiveness, productivity and low yields to soil health solutions, posing significant challenges to smallholder farmers and communities.
The 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 convened at the level of Heads of State and Government, will include active engagement from other policy makers, scientists, representatives of farmer organizations, private-sector, development agencies, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, scholars, and the media to deliberate on new policies, investments, and innovative financing mechanism to enable farmers re-build soil health for increased yield and profitability.
