I’m saying this now. You can see into the future. So you see things happen, even before they do. And you know that eventually your own alliances might stab you in the back or might betray you for someone else for their own life.
For the lucky, death is swift. The kiss of a blade, the crushing force of a hammer, mighty retribution of the gods. But for the rest of us… death is slow. Prolonged. Painful. Whether it be a brother… a lover… or a home. Death is relentless. Death comes for us all.
We’re still going to be here for a while. Why not take a crack at something? Make something of your own. Put your mark on this land. Who knows? Maybe they’ve been plucking things from reality and drop them into this land. Maybe they’ll do the reverse even if you were to fall.
The day will probably come where one of us will put the other in the ground for real. And for that, I do not judge you, it is why we are here… But in the meantime, you have to enjoy yourself, my friend. Very few of us get a second chance at life, let alone a third.
I wish. I wish there was any semblance of any kind of the order of what I’m seeing. I see myself in the arena and I see myself win and I think that- that’s a good thing. And then it ends up being that I’m fighting Sausage.
When I was in the arena and I saw that look, I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t… I couldn’t relive what I had– I just couldn’t hurt somebody who deserves nothing but kindness reflected back to them.
I can’t see. I’ve never been able to see. Before you picture darkness, don’t. I didn’t see darkness. I saw nothing. Nothing doesn’t have a shape or shade. Then I was shown all of time. Every person, every place. The first moment to the last. All of it at once.
I need to remember to keep focusing on what’s ahead. There’s no use in looking behind. All of it’s gone anyway, so there’s no point in dwelling on it anymore.
