Our tailoring students, soon to be tailoring masters!
We can’t wait to see the beautiful things they make and sell as they start their new small businesses.
Ensuring all of our students maintain access to free-to-use machines mean that they are able to earn incomes faster.
@PanVerusProject is an amazing community-based project working in Northwest Sierra Leone. They are helping me collect the data I will use for my PhD. Besides scientific research, one of their amazing initiatives is a vocational school, where community members can learn (1/2)

The team has been doing an amazing job monitoring #SierraLeone’s forest elephants!
Did you know Sierra Leone is home to wild elephants? That’s why conserving the remaining forests are so important!
Thank you @DallasZoo for funding this important work!

@tonkolili Thanks for sharing!
These elephants are under immediate threat from the illegal extraction of Rosewood, but we’re working with communities to try to stop the reliance on the income from logging for export!
It would be amazing for them to be treated like the treasure they are!
Happy Independence Day, Mama Salone!
Today we celebrate the amazing team that make up the Pan Verus family and all they have accomplished this year to support the people and environments of Tambakha Chiefdom around #OutambaKilimi National Park #SaloneTwitter

The fearless leader of the @PanVerusProject is Kalie Kamara. He organizes activities, trains community members to be wildlife researchers and monitors, and is committed to community buy-in at every level.
This is the @PanVerusProject team. These are the amazing humans who are out every single day (even thru the raining season!) conducting wildlife research and monitoring, and engaging with community people to encourage buy-in into conservation activities.

Hi Twitter fam, it's that time again. @PanVerusProject
has had a rough go getting a bank to let us open a community account with them, and even though we're finally on the right track we've missed this funding cycle. So... we're holding a fundraiser!
