In #WWE2K26 it costs 4,652,000 VC to buy everything locked behind "The Island" game mode. Every match win, you get around 150 VC.
So let's say each match you play takes about 5 mins, and you win every match (you won't). You will have to win about 31,000 matches. This will take you 107 days of playtime (2568 hours).
If you don't want to do that egregious grind and purchase the VC for the items locked away, it will cost you $1,600+. This is AFTER paying $150+ for the full game and this is only for ONE of the greedy slop modes (there is another one that's even worse).
How is this legal?
In #WWE2K26 it will take you 107 days of playtime (2568 hours) to unlock all items locked behind The Island game mode. The alternative is paying $1600+ on top of the $150 you paid for the base game to skip the artificial grind.
I hate when a game studio releases something extremely greedy and tries to power through the initial reception it receives for being a complete scam in hopes it'll just blow over or something. Do not buy #WWE2K26. Do not support their corporate greed mobile game slop.
BREAKING: The artist "Sayzee" who raps on the official New Day theme in WWE, calls #WWE2K26 slop and says even he isn't going to buy it. You can't make this stuff up😭
#WWE2K26 is getting destroyed in Steam reviews, currently sitting at just 52%. In comparison, last year's game had a 78% at release.
The review section is being flooded with thumbs down and it's all about the Ringside Pass. Turns out this predatory practice wasn't such a great idea after all.
In #WWE2K26 The Island requires you to prestige for specific overall levels, meaning you lose all attribute points you PAID for with VC and have to spend money all over again just to level up your wrestler
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse…
In #WWE2K26 it will cost you over $1000 to be able to unlock things that were available to you for FREE in the previous game. This disgusting corporate greed must be put to an end.
