@lostinganglia@darwintojesus We are also called to witness to the lost souls to bring them into salvation but yes if they're firm enough and can't be reasoned with then i suppose there's no hope
@naarubuster@Tsar_Martyr I'm far and removed from that purity you speak of. It is thru Christ that someone like me can ever hope for salvation. He was put on the cross so that even a degerate like me can make it to the kingdom of heaven
"Atheism isn't a religion." Then why does it have:
โ Sacred texts (peer-reviewed consensus)
โ Heretics (atheists turning to faith and getting mocked)
โ Evangelists (deconstruction threads)
โ A creation myth (nothing to something)
โ A morality shaped by cultural momentum
@JackHammerLane@reddit_lies I typically have to work on Sundays, and it's just me by myself for now. I'm not opposed to going to church or anything and I watch sermons' online too. When I'm working with my residents we often discuss matters of faith where I ask them to draw on Christ for emotional comfort.
@JackHammerLane@reddit_lies I was thinking that too, but my friend from high school is a pastor who also delivered a sermon at my dad's funeral so perhaps calling on him for a referral/recommendation could work? What do you think? Hypothetically speaking if one were to try and apply.
