I feel like there is no such thing as gatekeepers in music industry..cos if ur song is a hit..I believe no one can tell the fans not to like it..do u know most hits are not promoted it just find its way to people’s ears and hearts…so just keep dropping tracks.

Oh mann! This Drama of Uptown DJs i feel like giving my thoughts on it!

Firstly i completely disagree with Sowe B… He used very wrong methods such as comparison. You can’t compare Lito’s transition to your transition when you were also off key and your loop was set wrong.

Secondly, Feedback must be constructive not judgemental not comparison not giving backlash…

Thirdly before he spoke about how Lito won the Afrima Awards… Did he ask himself WHY lito won the award in the first place… it wasn’t coincidence or a mistake it was because he earned his place to do so.

I genuinely feel like DJs if you feel the need to have a say. Do it constructively please, Because how would you feel if someone did the same to you! Trust me DJ to DJ don’t attention seek. Rather give constructive feedback or simply DO BETTER YOURSELF! if Lito earned an Afrima and you think your better don’t speak. Go win a grammy and that will talk more than a video!

Cmon Be Wiser and Constructive instead of Critiquing other DJs out there! Rather comparing them to yours which unfortunately was also wrong! BS! 😂

[Sir. Aludah 👑 @DjAludah]

Also..

Its very ok to NOT be a TONE-PLAY or a WORD-PLAY kind of DJ.

Kuba endongo yo!

[throneskampala @throneskampala]
