@Record_Factory @OonaghF @maxtempers Agreed, I got sidetracked when it was quoted that being an ex copper added validation. If scheme misuse is reported to motability then action is taken. Motability has numerous benefits including an estimated social benefit to the UK economy worth £8.5 billion.

@SkeggyMeggy @maxtempers But he fails to mention the positives of the scheme?! Beyond the benefits provided to those on the scheme, an independent Oxford Economics survey estimated the social benefit of the Scheme to the UK economy to be worth £8.5 billion. Would you like that taken away too?

@maxtempers Unfortunately every ‘scheme’ on the planet is subject to abuse and mobility have the powers to restrict the service where this can be proved. The car is not free either?! Plus what about the benefits of the scheme to the economy?
