Didn’t expect having to do firmware upgrades via switching an #EEPROM in the circuit or having to configure a device via code in 2023, but you can still get the real #masochistic#nerd_experience if you buy a Behringer #fcb1010#midicontroller.
Philipp Otterbach sent me the #vinyl version of his new album The Dahlem Diaries (including some bass tracks from me). It feels great to be able to really touch a piece of music again. I guess I can’t resist buying a #turntable for much longer. #vinylrecord
Philipp Otterbach just released his new album, which I was happy to add some ideas and bass tracks to.
If you're at least a bit into ambient, you should check out The Dahlem Diaries, or even better: buy the excellent vinyl and enjoy these soundscapes properly

I enjoy pimping instruments. This time it’s an all-black HB acoustic fretless modded with black nylon tapewound strings, black Schaller tuners, and some sanding on the fretboard and bridge. Sounds dark and smooth
It‘s getting nerdy 🤓 I just started my DIY bass synth pedal project today. It's a CMOS based fuzz that can also do octave down and octave up, self oscillations, theremin sounds and modulation.

Ich starte nächste Woche mit einem regelmäßigen Bassisten-Stammtisch in Berlin. Von E-Bass bis Kontrabass sind alle willkommen.
Das läuft aktuell über Meetup:

Last week I did an internal internship at Thomann. Switching my UX role to guitar sales and related departments for some days was a great experience.
I met so many friendly and passionate people that this didn’t feel like work. And, of course, I had some inspiring gear talks 🤓
I'm so excited to see this article about Groove Breathing on No Treble:
