@Skatteverket I had applied for my coordination number last month (MArch 26th 2023) and my work permit extension was rejected by Migrationsverket. So i donot intend to live in Sweden and have left the country already. How do i cancel/terminate the coordination number request?

@Migrationsverk okay, so it seems i cannot continue work since my permit is only for 4 months. Which means i have to wait in Sweden for around 6 months without working while waiting for a decision. is that correct?

Hi @Migrationsverk,

My work permit expires on 31st Mar 23 and my employer has applied for an extension on 6th Mar 23. Could you please clarify if i can continue working beyond 31st Mar 23 while waiting for the new decision? Or do I have to discontinue from work after Mar 31st?

Work permit issued- 30 Nov 22
Expiry on 31 Mar 23.
The probation period on the employment contract was from 01 Oct 22 to 31 Mar 23.
Since the application process took 5 months (stating 1st July)to complete, the work permit card was issued on 30 Nov 22.

@Migrationsverk Hi there, I have received a reply for my question however it is not from my case officer but from another staff working in Migrationsverket? My employer is insisting me to get the response from my case officer. Is my employer doing the right thing?Is it my responsibility?

I received my UT card today (living outside Sweden) and i was surprised to see the card expiry date 31st Mar 2022. I applied work permit on Jul 1 and received a decision on 30 Nov 2022.When i arrive in Sweden on Jan 30th 2023 can i apply for Personal number?

@Migrationsverk @Migrationsverk 1.Yes, the employment is permanent however my employer has mentioned a probationary period of 6 months i.e. from 01-Oct-2022 to 31-03-2023. However, my decision was received on 30-Nov-2022 and I collected the UT card on 27-Dec-2022. which means I only have 90days

@Migrationsverk @Migrationsverk 4. since the contract is permanent, i shall receive a 2-year work permit and within this period probation shall be 6 months.This is not the case now. Was there a change in the visa regulations lately because I cannot understand who made the mistake here
