@_HHFF To me, the majority of the value is in the ideas and execution details. A digital first edition would be totally fine, with a collector's print run to follow later for extra posterity and tactility.

@juliewdesign_ I did a bit of the aesthetic preference feedback for V5 a few weeks ago. With portraits it was clear that one of the two had better fidelity, more dramatic lighting, and simpler composition, but wasn't always a more emotive photo. The V4 output of #1 and #4 here is better imo.

@mattinsyt @tobi I had a similar feeling when I started playing around with Midjourney V1. There was this emptiness and sameness about the way the outputs looked. It's a big chasm to cross to get to the level of control that goes into a really good creative output that appeals to humans.

The tech seems to be maturing fast, meaning the cycle from overhyped to real utility will be short.
