So I got shadow banned randomly on my main account, so I’ll be active on my alt for a while until everything goes back to normal. Love algorithms and the result of having to beg online for help. :,)
I’m making a full (very long thread) with my full experience with YouTube. Buckle up because the way @TeamYouTube has denied every appeal I made is just ridiculous. Initially on March 24th, I changed my username to TastyPaperclips and profile picture to Clippy.
I literally was under a YouTube premium account (family plan) & my channel still got falsely terminated thanks to their horrible ai. I’ve been trying to get it back since MARCH. Genuinely, just use DuckDuckGo or brave browser if you want an ad free experience on YouTube.
I would like to reupdate this that I got my original account back but I do recommend looking at the thread I linked here because my old account @TastyPaperclips got shadowbanned so the rest of the thread is unavailable :,)
My original account was suspended for no reason, I’m forced to start all over again now. So I’m hoping this will go smoother. Hi, I’m TastyPaperclips. My my channel was falsely terminated by YouTube & I’m hoping to try to get it back!
@Joe2ShiestyLit@TeamYouTube Since March 24th, so 124 days. (I have my thread pinned but unfortunately it’s on my old account that’s shadow banned so all the screenshots are unavailable for everyone to see.)
🚨YouTube Support lied to me and I lost everything
Eight months ago, I contacted YouTube Support and relied on the answer I was given.
Six months later, during YouTube’s May 13 outage, my clean 40K channel with over 10 million views was terminated. A month later, every remaining channel I had was terminated too.
How are creators supposed to rely on official YouTube Support if the information they’re given turns out to be wrong?
Why am I being punished because YouTube Creator Support gave me explicit wrong answers? How is this fair to creators who want to follow the rules.
All I Want is one FAIR review of all of this together and a separate review of my 40K channel. @TeamYouTube@nealmohan
(The reason it’s two accounts is because my old account got shadowbanned so I have to beg inactive on it for a while until people can see my replies again.)
My channel was literally falsely terminated for “impersonation” INSTANTLY due to a username change. And I have to beg on two seperate Twitter accounts all while @TeamYouTube keeps ignoring me or trying to shut me up. :,)
@Thafnine@TeamYouTube This is why whoever came up with leaving moderation on yt completely up to AI needs to have the brakes beaten off of them in Garden Warfare 2
@TeamYouTube@WhatsACnest Why do you falsely terminate channels like my own TastyPaperclips for “impersonation” instantly due to a username change but it takes forever to take channels like this down @TeamYouTube?
just woke up to YouTube demonetising a video
except it’s not a video. it’s my COMMUNITY POST.
HOW do you demonetise a TEXT post, what do you mean @TeamYouTube
@Thafnine@TeamYouTube I can’t believe @TeamYouTube hasn’t fully fixed this yet?! I mean their support falsely terminated my channel for a username change so I can’t be suprised but that’s still awful!
@ChannelAwesome Man I sure do love how @TeamYouTube let’s massive companies just automatically strike transformative videos all while offering no real support. (I mean I’ve dealt with how awful their support is firsthand when my channel got falsely terminated.)
@YouTubeCreators How are creators able to take your advice when @TeamYouTube falsely terminates their channels and auto rejects their appeals? I’ve been begging for months on TWO separate accounts for my channel TastyPaperclips.
@TeamYouTube@ChannelAwesome What an awful way to treat a longtime creator on your platform @TeamYouTube. Do your creators mean nothing to you? I mean, you did falsely terminate my channel over a username change so I can’t be shocked.
Hey @TeamYouTube why is your moderation so awful? You falsely terminated my channel TastyPaperclips over a username change & now you’re letting a major corporation screw over a well beloved creator??
You can't make this up. The Forrest Gump review that had it's strike disappear a week ago just got taken down again by @ParamountPics
The other version is up again while we fight this. Pretty crazy system @TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators
