@hutchinson I understand why you keep a certain distance (as you can see, it doesn't stop this), but the implication is that if you were, this would be justified. By giving in to their framing that your association matters you reinforce their mentality. But it shouldn't matter either way.

For example if I say you had a 100k job, rather 200k and then you get a promotion, I wasn't wrong back then.

@FDsignifier @GhostOfVeles Issue is that said criticism is only about preaching to the part of you audience that already agree with you. There's genuine points that can be brought up (LonerBox has made some for example), but most of the time the ones you make aren't actually reflective of the situation.

Trying to figure out if it's the case that it affects the view of their audience overtime because they're no longer being preached to or if they merely go to the next figurehead while feeling embolden in their views due to being "silenced".
