When people die, as far as I know, Grinwell brings them back to life. This process removes all memories of the pal.
I Assumed that you were killed and brought back, somehow, which is why you are normal once more.

@Sidneycuddlebug Well, I assume what happened was that you became a monster, so someone.. “Put you Down”, so to speak, and then you were pieced back together, after the fact, correct?

Pals are not meant to recall anything after revival, this contradicts everything we know of the revival process!
