@wilsonbosc0 @shinyycatherine Starters are normally very good in their games to be fair. Swampert, venusaur, infernape, all pretty good for their region. I do imprint on them though, which is a me issue but also... the point of pokemon is building your own team, so it's no issue whether you keep it or not tbh

What I feel about my starter is guilt if I consider abandoning it. I love my starter - that's my first companion, my friend, I'm not gonna throw it away..
