Unfollow me if you think Michael Jackson is guilty. I'm not gonna bother fighting with y'all's uneducated asses, all proof is literally ONE search away.
Thank you
A year before MJ was killed..
In 2008 MJ was among the top 5 best artists in the world.
Thriller was the 3rd best selling album of that same year.
And 2 years prior to that in 2006 MJ was awarded the Guinness book of world record as the most successful entertainer ever.
โIn a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream.โ โ Michael Jackson from his 2001 speech at Oxford Union.
I don't like anything related to This Is It. From the very announcement, you could already tell that he wasn't doing well, and everything surrounding it is just heartbreaking.
I'll always believe that, after everything he'd been through and the way it all happened, he should never have left Ireland to move back to the United States.
He should've stayed in Ireland for at least five more years, giving himself time to recover mentally and find some peace before even thinking about coming back.
In my opinion, the purchase was the right decision because it provided the financial security that made major projects possible. Of course, MJ was a huge star, but in the show business world, they practically want your soul in exchange. Otherwise, I think he would've ended up in a situation somewhat similar to what happened to Prince...
I understand that feeling, but the truth is, it wasn't that simple. In my opinion, it had become a matter of honor for Michael after everything Sony, John Branca, and others had done during the Invincible era. If that damn documentary had never happened, things would have been different.
@unbreakablemj0 Itโs from Frank Cascioโs book, but I donโt consider him a very reliable source, since he claims in the book that Michaelโs marriage to Lisa was meant to satisfy some producerโs demands, when their marriage was actually genuine.
โThis was not just a successful movie. It was a cultural event.
The film triggered the largest Michael Jackson renaissance since his death in 2009. His songs surged across streaming platforms... Kids who had not been alive when Jackson died were discovering his hits as if they were new releases... Streaming data showed his catalog operating not merely like a legacy act benefiting from nostalgia, but like the catalog of a living pop star.โ
Karen, I already know how you feel about writing a book or making a documentary about your friendship with Michael, and I completely respect your opinion.
But I feel like social media, and the world in general, are in such a strange place right now that all of this could disappear one day. And if that happens, we could lose all the memories and stories you've shared with us here.
Please, consider leaving us something, even if it's just a PDF or some kind of written record. Share your experiences, your memories, your own life story, and the moments you shared with Michael. Not just for the fans, but so that these memories can be preserved and cherished for generations to come.
I understand that publishing a book involves production costs and a lot of work, but perhaps you could sell it and donate part of the proceeds to humanitarian causes.
Please don't take this suggestion the wrong way. It comes from a place of genuine appreciation and a desire to preserve these memories. โค๏ธ
