@achievebypetra_ And my point is that putting that cost at the point of investing will create extra friction and stifle the habit. Find another way to cover that cost. If depositing GHS 1000 is going to cost me GHS 10 (1%) before I have seen any returns, what’s the point?

@achievebypetra_ I think you gradually increased the friction people need to overcome to build a consistent savings habit with all your fees here and there: 1% for Momo deposit, 1.3% for card deposit, 1.5% for bank transfers. I have stopped recommending the app to my friends.

A savings and investment app is meant to take away any sort of friction to build and sustain the habit, not take them away and introduce new ones. I used to recommend the @achievebypetra_ app to my friends, but I myself haved moved to the IC Wealth app by @icgroupofficial.

Why should it be costing me money to save money? You can find other ways to recover that cost. Most Mutual Fund calculate their charges and fees into the returns or adjust the share price to cover that.

It’s been 20 years this year since I’ve been a children’s ministry (SAVED) pastor.

In that time, I’ve learned two things things:

1. Children’s ministry is a gold mine
2. Children’s ministry is an untapped gold mine in most ministries

I wished more ministries could see it.
