@FinalDaybreak "Where are you taking me?"
His lungs sting the moment he draws breath to speak and he's able to assess his condition based on the amount of pain he's in.
Washed up on the icy shores of Sandgem Beach, the former Galactic leader is reduced to a lifeless heap in the sand, skin dry and bluish where his clothes are tattered.
He did not come from the water; it's more likely he materialized out of thin air.
@FinalDaybreak Not entirely unconcious, he is aware of his body scraping along the dirt and snow.
When his eyes crease, Cyrus realize a blurry image of a woman with dark hair is dragging him.
He is too weak to resist so he allows it, and quietly gazes up at her. The familiarity irks him.
@FinalDaybreak His body drags along, making ruts in the sand. It proves no easy task, since Cyrus is much heavier than her. But if she manages to drag him the entire way, it'll be impressive.
@FinalDaybreak@diaIgasaveme@purugIys@bellumcallisto "There is no excuse for how I handled things..."
The foundation splits between their feet; another step and they'd surely fall. Cyrus frees himself from her clutches and shoves her forward.
"...you're better off without my existence."
@FinalDaybreak@diaIgasaveme@purugIys@bellumcallisto "No, I can't leave.
Stop wasting time and get out."
The ground cracks further. Flecks of light infiltrate, multiply and begin swallowing the darkness. Cyrus' body starts to dissolve.
@FinalDaybreak@diaIgasaveme@purugIys@bellumcallisto "Pain is subjective. It's uncomfortable but I've experienced far worse."
The ground trembles and begins to crack. He sighs.
"You better leave. Whatever you did out there is causing the entire system to collapse."
@FinalDaybreak@diaIgasaveme@purugIys@bellumcallisto "I am not responsible for the actions of my external body. Technically I'm a prisoner.
Take a look."
He moves an arm forward but thousands of black, murky strings prevent his range of motion. His entire body is covered in these, chaining him down.
