@GamperJoanna Safe touch and consent in sporting environments are so important for helping children understand their bodily autonomy. Glad you're getting the message out, keep up the great work 🤘
Paralympic gold medallist @SChristiansen87 has joined forces with #5News for a 3-part series on disability equality.
In her first report, she's asking whether it's all too easy to feast on Paralympics' feelgood factor - then forget the real issues disabled people face every day.
@GamperJoanna Thanks for running such an engaging and informative workshop, our trustees really got a lot out of it and will be reviewing our policies to ensure we're up to date.
We highly recommend anyone in the industry to attend this course, safeguarding is so vitally important.
In partnership with @SportCheerEng we are running our first in person camp in the UK since 2019.
Join us on the 18th December in Milton Keynes. Book on our website https://t.co/QIruiTsXih

@DriscollMorgan I'm sorry your local gyms aren't being supportive. As I said I'm happy to talk with them directly if you like.
It wasn't rude, but there's a lot of misinformation about disability classification in cheer and saying your disability isn't allowed in your post may add to that.
@DriscollMorgan Who has told you that you don't "qualify" for ParaCheer / Adaptive Abilities? AA teams are inclusive of both disabled and non-disabled participants so there isn't any special criteria to be part of those Unified teams.
We were honoured to be able to support the lighting of the @Paralympics Flame at @SMStadium. We hope it'll light a flame in the hearts of Cheerleaders everywhere to be more inclusive of Disabled athletes.
The heritage flame has been lit to mark the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, which are set to begin on 24 August.
The ceremony took place at the Stoke Mandeville stadium, the spiritual home of the Paralympic Games, in Buckinghamshire.
@GamperJoanna @thecathbishop@Josephineperry@Cheer_C_Academy Thanks for being a constant cheerleader for our work in bringing Disability inclusion into cheerleading. Looking forward to watching the talk :)
Very happy to share memories from our Inclusive Acrobalance Training Residency at @101OutdoorArts, with @DarylBeeton, co-facilitated by @paracheer. It's exciting and nourishing to train and collaborate again!

#DisabilityPrideMonth celebrates each person's personal experience. Our blogger, Kate Stanforth writes about her journey from feeling embarrassed by her wheelchair to being on a dance course with @paracheer @DarylBeeton and @Mimbre_Acrobats! 💪🏻
