If a corporator thinks it’s okay to beat up a doctor, then the next time there’s a pothole in a road in his area, is it okay to beat him?
Asking for several friends
14+ aspirants took their own lives. 22 lakh students were made to endure the stress of a re-exam for one of the toughest entrance exams in the country. A handful of low level operatives involved in the paper leak were arrested.
Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Education & the NTA, the tally stands at: zero resignations, zero consequences, zero accountability.
The brain can't determine reality. It can only determine its own predictions about reality. You don’t see reality, you see your brain’s best guess of it.
This is called predictive coding in neuroscience.
What happened in Jaipur was the result of rising unemployment.
If the person had a good job, he wouldn’t have resorted to such actions.
I request the Govt, to provide better jobs to such people.
Physical attacks are a sign of fear and cowardice.
We will continue to raise our voices peacefully. I am a follower of Gandhi and Ambedkar, and I will keep fighting this battle with peace and love.
PS: Dharmendra Pradhan must resign!
Doctors are not asking for integration of alternative medicine into the standard of care. Patients are not asking for integration of alternative medicine into the standard of care. The public is not asking for integration of alternative medicine into the standard of care. The only people asking for integrative medicine are alternative medicine practitioners, their promoters and sympathizers for survival and business opportunities. The only way alternative medicine can survive into the distant future is by integration into standard medical care and these quacks know it. Don't fall for this nonsense.
@theliverdoc Irks me. Not once in my clinical practice or training or scientific reading did I come across homeopathic or ayurvedic knowledge that can help mental (brain) illness.
I am sure these journals they share have words like holistic, patient centered, no side effects, safe, blah blah.
Enjoy #BlueSkies again today Mumbai 🦋
Dear Authorities,

Ministry of AYUSH will receive ₹44,000,000,000 (Forty-four thousand million / Forty-four billion Indian Rupees) this year for promoting pseudoscience, creating more stethoscope-wearing Instagram quacks, building more unscientific institutions, and endangering peoples liver and kidneys.
13 players have faced at least 20k deliveries but Rahul Dravid is the only player to face 30000 deliveries in Test Cricket. He was the wall between the Ball and Stumps. Mr. Dependable turns 53 today.
Let's talk about Dravid in this thread.

Perinatal mental health.
To all health care professionals.
If you see a pregnant woman who is on antidepressant/anti anxiety/antipsychotic medication, DO NOT STOP IT “because they are pregnant”.
Consult your local perinatal MH team or a primary care expert.
@Psychiatry_Anti Your concerns are justified, but your energy should be channeled to fight the actual evil- Non scientific irrational use of medicine and the lack of scientific temperament in doctors who are now using world like mind, soul, heal instead of brain, pathology, physiology.
@Psychiatry_Anti If any medicine has harmed you, then the choice of medicine was wrong.
Der r people in this world who struggles 2 even breathe or eat peacefully. They need scientific interventions lik medicine. Not all, but MANY. Your post invokes fear, something which will harm care seekers.
Recalling my views on the subject, now that @bcci has deplorably pulled the plug on @Mustafiz90. And what if the Bangladeshi player in question had been @LittonOfficial or @soumyasarkar_06? Who are we punishing here: a nation, an individual, his religion? Where will this mindless politicising of sport lead us?
So the unemployed RW IT cell on social media (and the tv news commandoes) have turned on @iamsrk and called him a ‘traitor’ for signing on Mustafizur Rahman for KKR in IPL. Bizarre and idiotic! 1) IPL is a private tournament , not state sponsored 2) we have well established and strong diplomatic ties with Dhaka: Indian govt officials have been happily posing with Bangladesh leaders in just the last few days 3) what will the IT cell say to Indian govt and BCCI when it green flags matches with Pakistan post Op Sindoor 4) India must raise any targeted attacks on Bangladeshi Hindus but unlike Pak sponsored terror, there is no evidence of state complicity here 5) Mustafizur is a damn good bowler: deserves to play IPL. 6) and yes, a last word: keep your WMD (weapons of mass distraction) out of the sport we love.
