I write the codes, sometimes, if they let me....

TIL all indian banks have to have .bank.in dns cname as per RBI rules. This is to reduce fake websites appearing as legit. The domain is strictly policed and available only to valid banks functioning in India.

@srijanshukla18 Better way to put it: I use LLMs for Self Realization.

Claude: When I said "can't practically," I was pattern-matching — "substrate = pervasive = hard" — instead of tracing the boundary.

dude chill, you made a mistake, own it!

I tried implementing a grpc client in c++ using ClientAsyncReaderWriter. My brain overheated. So many edge cases.

Spent a day debugging vprintf because I didn't know __LINE__ was an integer and not a string. Someone just kill me!
C and C++ seem to have way too many of these blackholes that will suck your time than other high level languages. Even chatgpt goes pathological at times.

[paramTech @param_tech]

TIL in c++ all of these below are valid and the first 2 mean the same type while the rest are different types.

const int **
int const **
int * const *
int ** const

This makes it all worth it. #IYKYK

Tried to upgrade my lunar ubuntu to mantic. Both are EOL. Nearly hosed my work laptop. Thought my harddisk had crashed but it was just a corrupt efi. Half a day but I am on mantic now. Tomorrow we try the next step noble.

[paramTech @param_tech]

Back to writing C++ and C and the old problems still remain
1. impenetrable errors
2. needs in-depth knowledge of build system

The only good thing now is that instead of scrolling through millions of stackoverflow posts you can just ask chatgpt but it will only take you so far.

Had a good laugh today seeing this! A useful website with a great name.

Looks normal GC behaviour BUT the vertical lines are when we restart the container. This is a memory leak.

Sometimes you need temporary DNS entries for testing....
