Know when to get your hands dirty, never asked your team to do something you won’t do yourself. Embrace change in crisis and be happy to change plans if required. Be quick with a joke to lighten the mood and keep team spirits high. Be like Earnest!
Being a paramedic is an exercise in self awareness. What does your stack of cheese look like day to day, moment to moment, before coffee, with certain pt groups? This is called being human! We can’t prevent that but we can be self-aware. Image source - https://t.co/PR5XeoKWUp

2) Set up an advanced airway.
3) Be a Pit Boss, analyse effectiveness of CPR & provide feedback to team.
4) Haemorrhage control in trauma - place a pelvic binder, splint long bones.
