Today, @TextronAviation’s Special Olympics Airlift begins transporting athletes and coaches to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota, with flights operating through St. Paul Downtown Airport on June 19 and June 27. More than 100 volunteer owners and pilots of Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker aircraft are expected to participate, with arrivals and departures occurring about every three minutes.

Signature Aviation, the event’s exclusive FBO sponsor, will provide operational and hospitality support at 17 departure locations, while a Signature hangar in St. Paul will serve as the Champion Center. The 2026 USA Games will be held June 20-26 at the University of Minnesota and the National Sports Center in Blaine.

The 2026 airlift will also feature its first widebody aircraft, a Boeing 777 provided by the Arizona Cardinals and Gridiron Air. Since its inception in 1987, the Special Olympics Airlift has transported more than 10,000 athletes and coaches to the USA Games.
