When we pay greater attention to building a gender-responsive tax system, women are given fair opportunities to grow and thrive in their businesses.
A just tax system can reduce inequalities and create the conditions women need to succeed.

Last Saturday, I joined fellow women in Public Relations at the 9th #WIPRSummit2025.
It was a pure masterclass, and every session was awesome. Thanks to all speakers and the organiser @WIPRGhana
#CancelTheDebt is not a plea — it’s a demand for justice. I stand with millions calling for an end to debt that robs our classrooms, hospitals, & future. Ghana deserves to invest in care, not creditors.
Today, we celebrate the strength, #resilience, and unwavering love of mothers across Ghana and beyond. At ActionAid Ghana, we remain committed to advancing the #rights, dignity, & empowerment of all mothers, especially those facing #inequality and #injustice.
Happy Mother's Day
Special thanks to Pres @JDMahama for your leadership. Can we now move forward with the pending Criminal and Other Offences Amendment Bill? Our grandmothers deserve protection from the age-old abuses of being falsely called #witches & subjected to #physicalharm. @fx_sosu@benkoku
To abolish taxes a government needs to be efficient, stem corruption and enhance SOEs to make more profits. Credit to H.E Mahamma
The economy won’t collapse without E-Levy—it’s bloated government, corruption, and inflated projects that drain revenue.

@ActionAidGhana@sangmorkie I found the conversation insightful! Structural violence is still very much present in our day-to-day lives. Social systems are designed to the policies that are enacted, it impacts individuals and communities, especially women and girls.
